Role Summary

Aubay is seeking an experienced Frontend React Developer with a track record of taking complex products from an early prototype discovery phase to a scale-ready production product. In this role, you will be building a data and analytics platform to support our client’s Environmental Products Trading Business. The platform provides its users true analytical mastery by sourcing, storing, and transforming proprietary data, making it available in a single interface and adding further value through analytical layers, concise visualisations and real time decision making. We’re looking for an excellent developer, ideally someone who is interested in the Energy Transition and/or sustainability who is keen to contribute to decarbonising the energy system.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 4 Front End development experience
  • Previous experience managing development teams
  • Track record of taking complex products from an early prototype discovery phase to a scale-ready production product
  • API integration experience (.net)
  • React Hooks
  • React scripts
  • UI in React
  • Building front end from designs (rather than maintaining or building on existing)
  • Enjoy learning about the customer’s pains and gain, and building products which solve real-world problems
  • Able to work autonomously in a small cross-functional team and communicate well with team members
  • Effectively contribute to the engineering and technical decisions
  • Self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
  • Experienced working in Agile Development Environment
  • AgGrid / Highcharts
  • HD for data visualization
  • Tailwind

  • Good knowledge and practical experience of software design principles & basic patterns
  • Strong emphasis on testing – unit, integration and automation
  • Strong emphasis and proven track record of building robust software that is easy to debug and operate
