Role Summary

Aubay is seeking a strong Programme Manager with a background in Energy Trading and Customer Lifecycle Management to join our Super Major energy client’s Environmental Products Trading team. The team manages carbon compliance and decarbonization for our client’s assets globally and deliver the net carbon footprint (NCF) ambition by sourcing, supplying and managing their carbon credit portfolio and supporting the downstream running of their carbon neutral CVPs. As a Portfolio Programme Manager, this person will be responsible for aligning plans, RAID, governance etc. across the Environmental Products Trading portfolio.


Required Skills and Experience

  • An IT project manager with at least 10 years experience of successfully delivering IT projects and programmes, managing up to 50 people with a budget of around $10M.
  • Technology skills, such as cloud, mobile, SAAS, and digital platforms such as Power Digital Core.
  • Program and project delivery skills in both agile and waterfall methodologies with a track record of delivering projects and programmes up to $20M, with up to 50 team members.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) PM qualifications are desirable, preferably PMP.
  • Domain knowledge and skills: the candidate should have experience of working in the energy trading business (or banking), ideally with experience of trading environmental products.
  • Experience leading teams (20+ staff with direct and indirect reports) in a matrix organisation
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders (experience in delivery with Trading and Supply business leaders)
  • Strong experience in delivery
  • Agile delivery and hybrid models (Agile/Waterfall), DevOps to work with our Projects Delivery Framework
