Role description

 As a Junior Project Manager / Reporting Analyst you will drive, measure and report on standard metrics across all scrum teams (internal and external) and communicate progress. You are expected to create and support the reporting function for the programme. MI reports will mainly be driven out of Azure DevOps and you will develop regular programme and project reports specifically the deliveries of the DevOps teams (development cycle times, service availability, delivery velocity etc.) as well as financial reporting, MI reporting and some change reporting. The role will also involve a large element of supporting senior project managers with project management activities including project plans, governance, RAID management, MI reporting and collaboration with other product teams where project dependencies exist.

Key Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Very strong documentation skills
  • Project Management experience
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Experience of project scheduling
  • Attention to Detail
  • Experience of using Azure DevOps / Jira for project reporting
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience of working within IT Project Teams

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in the energy industry
  • Experience of working in Agile / DevOps teams
